At the Nats Game…
Isner: I think we should make next week’s tournament the Mustache Open.
Me: I don’t know, I haven’t played in two months.
Isner: Me either.
Me: That’s risky. If we end up losing, I’d be bringing an escort to your wedding AND showing up looking like an adult film star.

If You’re In the Neighborhood
I highly recommend you try out the frozen yogurt at Mr. Yogato in DC. Upon the recommendation of a friend at work, I ventured over to the grand opening on Saturday with Stoner and Betsy. Being an avid ice cream person, I was a bit skeptical going in, but I certainly left a fan. My [...]

One Year Ago on This Date
The Apple iPhone was released.
I waited in line for a couple of hours to get an iPhone.

He [...]

Summers on the Subway…
I’ve been driving into work for the last three months, so I forgot what riding the Metro was like.
Today I rode in and I quickly remembered why people watching on the Red Line is so wonderful in the summer.
Starting at Bethesda, straight through to Metro Center. Each stop, another pleasant surprise.

How Not to Come Home From A Wedding
Do not drink shots of Patron at any point during the cocktail hour
Do not leave at 11:00 PM and expect to drive home 250 miles
Do not pull out of the reception location and get trailed immediately by a police cruiser for 5 minutes on a dark empty road with a 30 MPH speed limit
Do not [...]

It’s Been A While…
Greetings. Many days have past since my last blog post on “Random Thoughts from Il Mit’s Crew”. In fact, so much has happened since then. A new job. Many changes in my personal life. The last year-and-a-half has been quite a roller coaster. Some days have been extraordinary and wonderful, while other days have been [...]
